Eclipse Sirius vorgeschlagen: Modeling-Kernplattform wird Open Source
Ein neues Eclipse-Modeling-Projekt wurde bei der Eclipse Foundation vorgeschlagen. Unter dem Namen "Sirius" verbirgt sich eine von Thales entwickelte Kernplattform zur Softwaremodellierung, die bereits in verschiedenen Modeling-Produkten und -Umgebungen, beispielsweise im Obeo Designer, zum Einsatz kommt. Mit Sirius lassen sich Modeling Workbenches mit diversen Editoren definieren und in Eclipse IDEs oder RCP-Anwendungen integrieren.
