Obeo attends this week the SAE Aerotech congress being held in Montreal from September 24th to 26th. This is one of the major events in the avionics industry. UML Designer 2.4 is out. This new version is available in a ready-to-use package.   You can download it on the Obeo marketplace, in the UML Designer section. UML Designer 2.4 brings new properties views with a fast overview of the most used properties. Also, here are some of the new features of this version: Profile diagram is enhanced with a dedicated viewpoint, new tools and a new design. Eclipse Kepler is the new release train on the Eclipse Foundation. This year, the Eclipse community delivers 71 projects with the participation of 420 developers and more than 58 millions lines of code. The coordinated release demonstrates that open source development processes are very effective for large-scale distributed development. “The Eclipse release train are very important to the success and growth of the entire Eclipse ecosystem,” explains Mike Milinkovich, executive director of the Eclipse Foundation. “Users and adopters of Eclipse technology know they can rely upon a predictable annual release schedule, so organization are confident about using Eclipse technology as their software development platform.
