Web2Day 2016 : Obeo, digital innovation player
The Obeo team braved the elements to welcome you during the three days dedicated to digital innovations, in Nantes. You may have met us at our booth in the Web2Day village, and during Etienne Juliot’s talk, who is Obeo’s Vice-president.
Founded 10 years ago in Nantes, where it kept its head office, part of several innovative networks such as Atlanpole, Atlantic 2.0, and NantesTech Ambassador, Obeo has always been a key partner of Nantes ecosystem. Naturally, we wanted to support the 8th edition of Web2Day.

The Web2Day is a good summary of the latest trends and practices in digital innovation. Each year, the festival breaks records in attendance and visibility. The 2016 edition kept its promises. Over 3200 attendees, including one third of developers, went to this huge digital event which now spreads far beyond French borders !
The Web2Day was for our team the opportunity to present Obeo’s involvement in the Open Source community and the Eclipse Sirius, innovative modeling technologies we are working on.

Obeo SmartEA, our enterprise architecture tool, also aroused a lot of curiosity to those of you who are looking for an effective solution to achieve digital transformations.
The Web2Day is also a great place to share experiences, successes and failures. Among all the talks, you may have attended Etienne Juliot’s one, during which he explained how to grow up your start-up without investor. Step by step, Etienne and the other two Obeo’s co-founders, succeeded in achieving an Open Source business while keeping their autonomy and independence.
